TAUNTON – Louise J. (Dupont) Odle, a lifelong Taunton resident, died at Taunton Nursing Home on April 30, 2010.
She was 88.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (DeCamara) Dupont.
Raised and educated in Taunton, she later worked for Ad-A-Day for many years, retiring in 1982.
Mrs. Odle was a member of the Taunton Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She leaves a son, Raymond F. Odle of New Bedford; three daughters, Carol J. Hazen of Douglasville, GA, Linda J. Weiner of Green Valley, AZ, and Colleen M. Ellis of Taunton; two sisters, Beatrice Medeiros of E. Taunton and Esther Covel of Carver; six grandchildren, Christopher and Lori Hazen, Zachary Odle, Jennifer Domingo, Courtney White, and Michael Ellis; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late David Dupont, Mary Couto, Wilhelmina Phillips, and Nancy Macomber.
Her funeral will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Friday, May 7th at 10 a.m. followed by services at the Taunton Seventh Day Adventist Church at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at Pinehill Cemetery, East Taunton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 6th from 5 to 8 p.m.
