Obituary

Edna M. (Tuttle) Danton, 89 a longtime Franklin resident, died Thursday April 29, 2010 at the Geriatric Authority in Milford on the 64th anniversary of her wedding to Raymond Danton, who died in 1970.

Born in Norfolk, July 21, 1920, a daughter of the late John Henry and Nellie L. (Darling) Tuttle, she was raised and educated in Franklin, and is a 1939 graduate of Franklin High School.
Mrs. Danton was a retired kitchen worker and food preparer for the former Pondville Hospital in Norfolk. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed the beauty of nature.
She is survived by her nephew, Martin Connolly and his wife Nancy (Barnes) Connolly of Franklin with whom she lived, a niece Martha Fernandes of Riverview, Fla., two sisters: Laura Connolly of Riverview, Fla., Nancy Taylor of Bellingham, two great nephews: Edward Connolly, and Eric Fernandes.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Friday May 7th at 1 PM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. www.franklinfuneral.com.
Interment will follow in the family lot in St. Marys Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call on Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home.
