Obituary

WEBSTER – Marion B. Kleczka, 95 of 5 Nelson Street, died Saturday, October 25, in Holy Trinity Nursing Home, Worcester.

She leaves 2 nieces, Betty Lapierre and Barbara Migliozzi; 2 nephews, Donald Kleczka and Greg Cardinal; 3 great nieces, Karen Gem, Lynn Lapierre, and Patti Ruderman; 3 great nephews, David, Rick and Mark Migliozzi; 5 great great nieces and nephews, and 3 great great great nieces. Two sisters, Helen Cardinal and Rose C. Kleczka, predeceased her.

She was born in Spencer, the daughter of Wladyslaw and Mary (Wieczorek) Kleczka, and lived in Webster most of her life. She graduated from Fanning Hale Trade Vocational High School in Worcester, and then received a registered nurse degree from Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing.

Miss Kleczka was employed as a public health nurse for the town of Webster for 41 years. She was also the nurse for public and parochial schools. She retired in 1975.

She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica and its Sacred Heart Society, and a member of the Saint Joseph Polish Women’s Club. She belonged to the Hubbard Regional Hospital Guild, the Friends of the Chester C. Corbin Public Library, and the Worcester City Hospital Alumni Association.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, October 29, from the Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main Street, With a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery.

A calling hour will be held Wednesday from 8:15 to 9:15 AM Wednesday, October 29, in the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Friends of Saint Joseph School Fund, 53 Whitcomb Street, Webster, MA 01570
