
Joseph Thomas Pasquale, passed away at his home in Peabody on May 3, surrounded by his family. The beloved husband of Gloria Jean (Long), he was fifty-eight years old.
Born in Medford he was the son of Mary (Augustino) Pasquale of Medford and the late Anthony Pasquale.
Raised and educated in Medford he was a graduate of Medford High School class of 1970. Joe worked as a waiter at the Felicia’s Restaurant in Boston's North End for many years before opening his own restaurant in Middleton called Pasquale's. His most recent employment was with the teamster union as a chauffer for visiting actors and actresses making movies in Massachusetts. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening and most of all his new grandson Dominic Mascarenhas.
In addition to his wife Gloria Jean Pasquale, he is survived by his daughters Melissa Jean Mascarenhas and her husband Kristopher of Holbrook and Sandra Nicastro and her husband Joseph of Peabody. He is further survived by his mother Mary Ann (Augustino) of Medford. His sisters Mary Jane Solimine and her husband Frank, Carol Serfes and her husband Arthur, his brothers Paul Pasquale and Anthony Pasquale and his wife Lucille all of Medford. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews
His funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn on Friday, May 7, at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell St. Peabody at 11. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting Hours are at the funeral home on Thursday, May 6, from 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
