In Berkley, May 2, 2010 Avis (Aldrich) Foley, age 78 passed away at home while surrounded by her family, following a period of failing health. Avis was the wife of the late Paul Foley. She was born in Fergus Falls City, MN. to her late parents Lemuel & Lois (Skolman) Aldrich. She has lived in Berkley the past three years and was formerly of Abington. Avis retired from Brockton City Hospital after 30 years service in the Medical Records Department. She enjoyed knitting, traveling, going to the beach and loved being with her family. Avis is survived by her children Craig Clark of Whitman, Cynthia Rocha & her husband Greg of Berkley, Pamela Arnone & her husband Marc of Taunton, and the late Althea “Tudie” Clark. Her sister Eileen Marois of Minnissota and eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton on Friday, May 7th at 11am. Visiting hours will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11am. Interment at the Bourne National Cemetery at 12:45pm.
