Orbela Areias, age 89 of Fall River passed away May 1, 2010. Wife of Jose L. Areias and daughter of the late Jose Pereira Rocha and Elvira C. Rocha, she was a homemaker and a member of Espirito Santo Parish.
She is survived by 4 children: Delio F. Areias of Lawrence and Jose G. Areias, Delia C. Borges and Maria F. Valentim, all of Fall River; siblings: Louis P. DaRocha of Canada, Jose P. DaRocha of Terceira, Eria P. Rocha DaSilva of Stoughton, Maria L. Lemos of NJ and Emma Pinheiro of Lisbon; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Arnoldo and Deolinda Pereira both of Canada.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Wednesday at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Espirito Santo Church at 9 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday from 6-9 P.M.
