A.W. “Buddy” Thompson, 77, of Fitzgerald, died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 2 P.M., Sunday, May 2, 2010 in Evergreen Cemetery with military honors. Rev. Keith Goodlett will officiate.
Mr. Thompson was born May 31, 1932 in Atlanta to the late K.A. and Jessie Wade Thompson. He lived in the community all of his life. Mr. Thompson retired from the United States Navy and from Gilman Building Products Company. He was of the Methodist faith.
Mr. Thompson is survived by friends and caretakers: Larry & Renea Taylor of Fitzgerald.
