Obituary

Ann M. O'Shea, of Wilmington passed away April 27th at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of John J. O'Shea and together they shared more than 41 years of marriage. Born in Boston, Ann was the daughter of the late Francis X. and Elizabeth (Higgins) Moloney.

Ann was raised and educated in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston. Together with her husband, they purchased their home in Wilmington in 1968 and have been residents ever since. More recently due to health conditions, Ann was a resident at the Lexington Healthcare Center where she she recieved great comfort and support. She was very active and enjoyed participating in many different activities there. Ann was a retired bookkeeper and had worked in the area for many years. She also volunteered her time with the AIM Group of Wilmington and would often provide people in need with rides to their appointments or help them with their shopping. Over the years she was also active at the Wilmington Senior Center. In her leisure time Ann enjoyed crossword puzzles and needlepoint.

In addition to her beloved husband, Ann is survived by her brother, Kevin Moloney of Jamaica Plain, and sisters, Jane Moloney of West Roxbury and Ellen Detwiller of Georgetown. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., WILMINGTON, Saturday, May 1st, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ann's memory to the Burlington Regional Dialysis/ DaVita Dialysis, 31 Mall Rd., suite 1B, Burlington, MA 01803.
