Donahue, Margaret E. (Rush) “Maggie”, of Marshfield, passed away peacefully at home with her family on April 27, at the age of 70. Beloved mother of David R. Donahue (Nancy), of Forestdale, Pamela J. Sullivan (William) of Marshfield, Judith A. Brabants of Marshfield and her companion Edward Johnson. Loving grandmother of Matthew, Kelly, Dillon, Molly Rose, David, Jr., the late Chelsea Erin and the late Morgan. Sister of James Rush (Delores) of Quincy. Former wife of Daniel J. Donahue. Most importantly her wonderful dog Sofie.
Margaret was born in Arlington, MA. and was raised and educated in Braintree. She was the most amazing woman, mother, friend, grandmother, sister and cousin. Margaret was very talented, and had many projects, including her perennial gardens, handmade brick and stone work, her knitting and sewing skills, oil paintings, woodworking projects and many more. She worked many years as a legal secretary, although she retired from Ocean Spray Cranberry Corporation as an executive secretary.
A Funeral Service will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St, Rte 139, Marshfield Saturday at 10:00 am.
Visiting hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 pm.
Interment in the Couch Cemetery Marshfield.
