Francis X "Frank" Ahern passed away unexpectedly in Florida on April 7, 2010, formerly of Plymouth, MA.
Born November 13, 1953 in Boston, MA to the late Mary (Fryer) and George Ahern. Frank was a graduate of Boston Technical High School. He was a Printer by Trade. Prior to moving to Florida, Frank worked at Powder Horn Press in Plymouth and Stop & Shop in Manomet.
Frank enjoyed walking the beaches of Plymouth and the treasured time he spent with his family. He was a “Dad” not only to his children, but to many of their friends.
Frank is survived by his devoted and loving children, Michael F. of Wareham, Mary Rene of Ponte Vedra, FL and Christopher J. of Winter Park, FL, his step-daughter, Alexis Stevens and Grandson, Andrew Gavoni of Boston. His brothers, Paul and his wife Patricia of Ocala, FL, Brian and his wife Margaret of Bourne, MA and Joseph and his partner Keith Hebert of Houston, TX. Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and many Friends. He is predeceased by his wife Jan (Doxtader) Ahern.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 13th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) at 11 AM. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 12th from 4 to 7 PM. Burial will be private
