Obituary



Laconia-----Beverly A. (Goddard) Fuller, 83, formerly of Old Prescott Hill Road died peacefully at the St. Francis Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Laconia on Monday, April 26, 2010. Mrs. Fuller was the widow of Charles E. Fuller who died in 2009.
Mrs. Fuller was born August 24, 1926 in Lisbon, N.H., the daughter of Raymond L. and Martha I. (French) Goddard. She lived most of her life in Laconia, graduated from Laconia High School, then worked a Civil Service office job for the Coast Guard in Washington, D.C. during W.W.II. She had been employed by the First National Stores for many years. Beverly loved and cherished her family, friends, her home life, and had a deep faith in God. She was a member of the South Baptist Church and a long-time member of the choir. Beverly and Charlie loved to travel around New England, enjoying the outdoors, eating out and watching Red Sox games together. She was a sweet and humble person.
She will be deeply missed and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James & Lynn McElroy, her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen & Jonathan Borden, and son and daughter-in-law, Scott & Susan McElroy; six grandchildren, Garth McElroy and his wife, Megan, Ian McElroy and his wife, Jodi, Andrew Borden, Leanne Borden, Zachary McElroy and William McElroy; one great grandchild, Jordyn McElroy; a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Marge Goddard; two sister-in-laws, Eleanor Goddard, and Evelyn Fuller; 10 nieces and nephews, and 13 grand/great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Fuller was predeceased by one brother, two sisters and one half brother and three half sisters.
A calling hour will be held on Friday, April 30th at 10:00 a.m. in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.
A Funeral Service will follow the calling hour at 11:00 a.m. also at the Funeral Home.
Burial will be at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 D. W. Highway, Boscawen, N.H., also on Friday at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the South Baptist Church, 85 Court Street, Laconia, NH.
