Stella M. (Arsenault) O’Ligny of Reading passed away on Wednesday October 22, 2003 at Wingate Nursing Home in Reading. She was 89 years of age.
Born in Lawrence, Stella lived in Reading for the past thirty years. She was a loving and caring wife, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all. Stella loved arts and crafts. At any time, you could find her crocheting an afghan. She was an avid card player, also.
Stella was the beloved wife of the late Roy H. O’Ligny. She was the dear sister of Sister Eugenia Marie Arsenault of Fall River, May Smart of Stoneham, Mildred Simeone of Woburn, Edward Arsenault of Melrose, Marie Perry of Rhode Island and George Arsenault of Reading. Stella was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Joseph Doherty Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Monday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Sunday 3-7pm. Interment Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence.
