Danny G. Nicholson, 45, Clarksville, died Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hilldale Baptist Church with Rev. Verlon Moore and Dr. Larry Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the church. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born August 17, 1964 in Clarksville, TN. son of Wendell C. Nicholson and Virginia Key Nicholson. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Nicholson was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church and was a medical tech with Davita Corp. Survivors include his mother, Virginia Nicholson; wife, Cathy Nicholson, daughter, Brittany Nicholson; brothers, Jerry Nicholson (Lynn) and Larry Nicholson (Rhea Ann); sister, Linda Emerson (Scott); step-daughters, Megan Ford (Justin) and Heather Akridge; step-granddaughter, Catee Akridge; nephew, Jonathan Nicholson and niece, Leigh Ann Nicholson. Pallbearers will be Scott Emerson, Al Radford, Chuck Dowdy, Perry Smith, Keith Brake, Hal Matthews, Neal Baggett, and Justin Ford. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the Davita Corporation.
