Obituary

Gregory C. Whippen 40, of Arlington, and a former longtime Franklin resident died suddenly at his home Thursday April 22, 210.
Born in Boston, August 3, 1969 a son of Joseph E. Whippen and the late Patricia A. (Casalinuova) Whippen, he was raised and educated in Franklin, and was a Franklin High School graduate class of 1987.
Mr. Whippen worked as a driver for the Cambridge Cab Company, and while living in Franklin also sold cars at the former Frank Chevrolet dealer on Rt.140. He was an avid collector of all things antique, including cars and coins.
He is survived by his father Joseph E. Whippen and his wife Deirdre of Meredith, NH, 2 brothers; Joseph E. Whippen Jr. of Jaffrey, NH, Jonathan Deutsch of FL, 3 sisters; Belinda L. Rawley of Moultonborough, NH., Catherine M. Whippen of Meredith, NH., and Kam Deutsch of TX. Also surviving is a niece Samantha P. Rawley and a nephew Alexander N. Rawley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Tuesday at 8:00PM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. www.franklinfuneral.com.
Private burial will take place in the family lot in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8PM.
