Obituary

Hubbardston - Julius J. Tremblay, Jr., 76, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 23, 2010, at Autumn Village Nursing Home of Worcester. He leaves his wife of 59 years, Ada May (Rogers) Tremblay; four sons and two daughters, Pamela M. (Tremblay) Schirner and her husband Jeffrey, David M. Tremblay and his wife Linda, Donna M. (Tremblay) Wead and her husband Dennis, Arthur F. Tremblay, Mark A. Tremblay and his wife Karen, and Gary E. Tremblay; three grandchildren, Marci L. Drummey, Felicia L. Wead, and Daniel J. Tremblay; and two great-grandchildren, Aidan Drummey and Christina M. Hutchens. He is also survived by four brothers, 4 sisters, and many nieces and nephews. One sister predeceased him.

He was born in Worcester, son of Helga V. (Erickson) and Julius J. Tremblay. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade in the Class of 1951. Julius was a machinist. His pastimes included hunting, fishing, camping, NASCAR, and participating in Revolutionary War Re-enactments.

Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, Tuesday, April 27, from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 28, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Hubbardston.
