Almeida of Plymouth Alfred, 83, at Life care Center April 22, husband of the late Elaine (Martin) Almeida. He leaves his sons Alfred l. Jr, and Paul R. and his wife Michelle all of Plymouth. He also leaves a granddaughter Shannon, 2 great grandchildren Logan and Madison, his brothers George, Manny, and Louis, his sister Del, many nieces and nephews. Brother of the late John, Joseph, Rose, Bunny, Enos, Alice, and Louise.
Alfred was born in Plymouth and attended Plymouth schools he worked at the Plymouth Cordage in the foundry before serving in the US Navy during WWII. After returning to Plymouth Alfred went to work as a Truck Driver for F. Cavicchi Co. of Whitman formerly of Plymouth. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church Wednesday April 28 at 10:00 AM . There are no visiting hours and burial will be private.
