Methuen, Ma. – Mary Ann (Fournier) Andrews, 73, died Monday April 19, 2010 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill.
She was born in Haverhill the daughter of Francis X. and Alice M. (Paquette) Fournier.
Mary Anne attended St. Josephs grammar school and Haverhill High School.
For 11 years Mrs. Andrews worked in quality control with B.K.C. Company and for 8 years had also been employed with Unitrode before retiring.
Mary Ann was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church of North Andover. She was on the Mission Board.
Mary Ann was a member of the Lawrence Council of Churches, Merrimack Valley Baptist Association, a delegate T.A.B., Con. and church delegate for the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts. She also sang in the church choir at First Calvary Baptist Church.
She volunteered at the Marsh School in Methuen assisting in the Grammy Program, and helping the teachers in all aspects. Mary Ann did a lot of knitting prayer shawls, made baby bonnets for newborns and hats, and mission work.
She was the widow of Frank L. Andrews.
Survivors include one son Francis L. Andrews of Lawrence, two brothers Francis J. Fournier of Byfield, Ma., and Raymond J. Fournier of Atkinson, NH, stepsister’s Lucille Mott of New York, her extended families stepsister Donna J. Bernard and her late husband Robert E. Mrs. Andrews is survived by cousins; Gregg, Kenda, Todd, and Elley.
A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock in First Calvary Baptist Church of North Andover with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
Friends will be warmly received on Friday from 4 P.M. – 8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
