Obituary

Donna J. Quarterone, 53, of Derry, NH died unexpectedly Saturday, April 17, 2010 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry. Mrs. Quarterone was born in Boston, MA on August 6, 1956, a daughter of the late Robert Ford and Anna Kay. She was a resident of Derry for the last 14 years. Donna grew up in Dorchester, MA. She worked as an engineer for Cobham/DCT in Nashua, NH for 2 years and for Sanmina Corp. for 6 years. Donna was a big fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. She enjoyed bowling, camping, traveling, her trips to Las Vegas and her time exploring Alaska. She was also a big Elvis fan and had visited Graceland, Memphis and Mississippi. Donna lived for her grandchildren, as her family was very important to her.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Peter Quarterone, her son, Peter W. Quarterone, Jr. and two grandchildren, Aiden and Aida Quarterone, all of Derry, three sisters, Shirley Pleickhardt of Hampstead, NH, Christine Quarterone of Leominster, MA and Karen Nelson of Texarkana, AR, and also by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, John Nelson and a sister, Joanne Sprinsky.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry.
