Katherine L.Keegan, 92, of Wilsonville, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010 in Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam.
She leaves her sister, Mary Elizabeth Keegan of Wilsonville, and many nieces and nephews.
Katherine was born September 29, 1917in Wilsonville, the daughter of Edward J.Keegan,Sr. and Mary D. (Shields) Keegan.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Lawrence, Edward,Robert and William Keegan.
Kay worked for 45 years for the State of Connecticut in the Insurance Dept. and the Secretary of State's Office.she rose from a clerk to adminstrative assistant to the supervisor and then to Asisitant Director of the Corporations Division.She served with distinction in the administrations of seven Secretaries of State. Kay was honored with a citation for her many years of service by the General Assembly in Hartford on June 29, 1981.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 10AM at St. Joseph's Church, 18 Main St.,North Grosvenordale, CT. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Dudley,MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Joseph's Church, Renovation Fund, P.O.box 897, North Grosvenordale, CT. 06255.
