WORCESTER – Rita (Baersch) Moynihan Metivier, 87, died Monday, October 20 in her home at Notre Dame du Lac, 555 Plantation Street.
She is predeceased by her husbands Jeremiah Moynihan and Wilfred L. Metivier. Surviving are her son Gerald F. Moynihan and daughter-in-law Martha M. Moynihan; three grandchildren, Timothy F. Moynihan and Erin Moynihan of Worcester and Caitlin M. Moynihan of Shrewsbury and a close friend Alice Coolidge of Framingham. She was born in Germany daughter of August and Frieda (Willer) Baersch.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 22 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street (www.Royfuneral.com) with a mass at 10:30 am in Notre Dame du Lac Chapel, 555 Plantation Street. Private burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, October 21 from 5 to 7 pm in the funeral home.
