Ezelle Ellis Thurman, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Thurman was a homemaker and a member of the Pridgen Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the Pridgen Baptist Church. Survivors are: son: Terry (Susan) Thurman, daughters: Sharon Thurman (Raymond) Smith, Carolyn Thurman (Rayburn) Bush, sister: Myrtle Ellis Evans, Valdosta, GA; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Mrs. Thurman was preceded in death by husband, Terrell Thurman, Sr. and a son, Fred Thurman. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
