Graveside funeral services for Charlotte R. Avery, 87, of Ashburn, Ga. will be held Friday, April 16, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in Live Oak Cemetery in Turner County. Ms. Avery died Monday, April 12, 2010 at Heritage Health Care in Ashburn following an extended illness.
Ms. Avery was born in Turner County, Ga. and was the daughter of the late William Green & Mellie Alberson Avery. She was a member of the Amboy Baptist Church in Turner County, Ga.
Ms. Avery is survived by a large number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Clyde Gibbs, Jewell Hamilton, Doris Priest, and Reba Passmore, and her brothers, Robert M. Avery & Ford Avery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
