AUGUSTA, Ga. – Mr. Perry Mou-Jon Liu, 73, entered in to rest Saturday, April 3, 2010. The funeral service will be held on April 17th at 1:30 p.m., at Platt's Belair Road Chapel. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Mr. Liu was a native of Zhejiang, China, and a Major in Taiwan’s Republic of China’s Nationalist Army. He immigrated to the United States in 1972. In 1978, he and his wife Louise opened and ran a successful business, the China Garden Restaurant, until their retirement in 2001. He loved being surrounded by his family and friends, and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing. He is survived by three daughters, Pei-Pei (John) Lu of Atlanta, Chen-Chen (Johnson) Liou of Atlanta, and Linda (Tim) Ponseti of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two sisters, Mou-Chu Cheng of Augusta and Mou-Seng Liu of China; and eight grandchildren, Maegan, Alex, Austin, Adrienne, Daniel, Sarah, Rachel, and Andrew. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, April 16, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
