Obituary

Therese (Terri) Y. Trudeau of 547 Clinton St. Woonsocket R.I. died Saturday April 10th just shy of one week before her 68th birthday, at Landmark Medical Center following an enduring period of declining health.
Born April 19th 1942, as one of seven children to Albert and Pomela Guerard.
During her life, she was a mother above all else. She always had her children in the forefront and cared and looked after them as priority one. In an effort to better her chance to help the children, she chose a profession to help others. Graduation from nursing school as an LPN would be one of her crowning achievements.
The majority of her work life was spent as a nurse at various nursing homes with the longest tenure being at The Woonsocket Health Center. Her care giving talents were also shared with patients in New Hampshire and California.
Terri will always be remembered as a loving woman who gave and gave. But, she also loved to take chances and was often seen with others at the slot machines, rubbing off lottery tickets, hollering in bingo halls, and cheering on her cribbage league.
Knitting and crocheting were big in her life and she was well handed with the yarn. Not a single episode of "Monk" escaped her viewing. Crossword and jigsaw puzzles were among her great challenges which she conquered with ease.
Her loss is shared by four children; Raymond Trudeau of Manchester NH, Pamela Ducharme of Oakland RI, Suzanne Gagne of Johnston RI, and Denise Fournier of Woonsocket RI.
Several grandchildren and great grandchildren are among the grieving.
She is survived by a sister, Constance Palleschi of Sun City CA, and three brothers; Albertin Guerard of Bellfontaine OH, Alcide Guerard of Redondo Beach CA, and Normand Guerard of Woonsocket RI.
Many nieces and nephews are among those she loved and shared love with.
Other survivors include three sisters-in law; Rita Trudeau, Judy Guerard, and Constance Guerard, all of Rhode Island.
In her life, she was predeceased by her parents, along with brothers Raymond, Henry and Leo.
Visiting hours for family and friends will be held Wednesday at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home,99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral service and interment will be private.
Friends and family would like to thank Landmark Medical Center and their staff for the caring and kindness they showed us. An overwhelming array of gratitude is extended to the staff and the many friends of the Kennedy Manor. She has left one great home and begins her journey in an even greater one. Care Love Peace.
