JOHNSTON,
Derrick Louis, 28, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2010.
Derrick was a big guy with an even bigger heart, who loved and cherished his family and friends. He was an avid sports fan who loved the Louisville Cardinals.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Louis Johnston and grandmother, Valinda Ross Stonecipher.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Clark (Steve); sisters, Stephanie Medley (Matt) and Sarah Johnston; nieces, Shelby and Madelyn Medley; grandmother, Mary Teresa Johnston; and uncles, Ross Stonecipher and Bruce Johnston.
His service will be 10am Wednesday at Most Blessed Sacrament, 3509 Taylor Blvd., with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 2pm-8pm at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
