Khalil Nicholas Al-Amir, age 91, of Pawtucket passed away April 10, 2010. born in Damascus ,Syria , Husband of Julia (Al-Moualem) Al-Amir and son of the late Nicholas and Helen ( Al-Kaouli ) Al-Amir, he was a retired cabinet maker and a member of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 children: Marwan and his wife Huda (zin) Al-Amir, Radwan and his wife Rowida (Ghosson) Al-Amir and Iman Al-Amir, 6 grandchildren: Racha, Khalil, Rawan, John, George and Julia, 1 sister Nora Al-Amir Abdelahad and her husband Charles Abdelahad, He was brother of the late Salim Al-Amir survived by his wife Mary, and the late Toufik Al-Amir and the late Mary Samra, and 5 nephews and 8 nieces and their children.
His funeral will take place Thursday with a funeral mass in ST. MARY ANTIOCHIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH at 10 A.M. Calling hours in the church Wednesday 5-8 P.M. Interment in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
