Jewel H.Williams, 86, Clarksville, died Saturday, April 10, 2010, at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday and from 10:00 AM until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born in Montgomery County, on June 23, 1923, the son of James(Jim)Williams and Willie Yarbrough Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Marie T. Williams and one brother Bill Williams. He was a Christan, a WWII Veteran and a retired lineman for the Clarksville Department of Electricity. He was an avid bowler. He is survived by two sons Rickey(Essie)Williams, Roger(Linda) Williams both of Clarksville,two brothers Herschel(Sara)WIlliams, Robert(Josephine)Williams, one sister Margaret Heaton, two grandchildren Lori(Jeff)Myatt, Tiffany Williams, two great grandchildren Clayton and Carson Myatt all of Clarksville. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Clarksville Department Employee's. In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to the American Cancer Society 2001 Charlotte Ave. Nashville, TN. 37203-2003.
