WOOTEN, Laura, 83, passed away Wednesday at her residence.
She was born in Albany, KY to Fowler & Bina (Appleby) Norris.
She was a retired School Teacher with the Jefferson County Public Schools, her last position was at Greenwood Elementary. She was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her Parents and a Sister.
Survivors include her Husband of 64 years: Aubrey Wooten; 3 Sisters: Dalene Dooley, Creola Blevins, & Ruth Lollar.; and several Nieces & Nephews.
Visitation will be 2 - 8 PM Friday (4/9/2010) at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Sunday (4/11/2010) at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia KY.
Visitation there will be 2 - 6 PM Saturday and 10 AM - 1 PM Sunday (Columbia Time)
Burial will be in Antioch Church Cemetery, Adair Co., KY.
