Carol A. Nelson, 45, of Quincy, formerly of Brockton, died, Friday April 2nd in the Quincy Medical Center, unexpectedly. She was the beloved daughter of Edmund R. and Carol (Cutting) Nelson of Halifax.
Carol was a graduate of South Eastern High School, Class of 1982.
She worked as a sales clerk for Ashmont Department Stores for many years.
She enjoyed going on cruises, was an avid red sox and sports fan. Carol also loved her dogs.
In addition to her beloved parents, she is survived by her son, Justin Nelson of Quincy, she was the sister of Terry Eastman and her husband James of Carver, Edward Nelson of Brockton, Richard Nelson of Carver, Robert Nelson and his wife Kim of Attleboro, David Nelson and his wife Tara of East Bridgewater: also her grandson Camden, many nieces, nephews and her good friend Father Thomas Kopp of Sudbury
Her services will be held on Wednesday April 7th, 10:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Interment will follow in the Melrose Cemetery, Pearl St., Brockton, MA .Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 6th from 4:00-7:00PM.
