Obituary

Keane, Thomas P. of Quincy, a native of Galway Ireland, died on Friday, April 2, 2010 he was 82. The beloved husband of 50 years to Ann M. (Walsh) Keane. Loving father of James P. Keane and his wife Brenda Morrison , Noreen Murray and her husband Bill, Thomas P. Keane and his wife Jennifer all of Quincy, Nancy Wurtz and her husband Dana of Lexington and Joan Berthelot and her husband Robert of Braintree. Dear brother of John Keane of Quincy, Patrick Keane of Ireland and the late Mary Healy and Philip & Martin Keane. Cherished Papa of Sarah, Michael, Maeve, Liam, Rebecca, Molly , Adam and Grace. Tom is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He retired from Boston Gas after 38 years of service. A proud United States Army Korean War veteran. Tom was a member of the American Legion Post 380 in Hough's Neck, he enjoyed gardening. A devoted husband, a loving father and cherished papa, he will be dearly missed by all those who where blessed to have known him.


Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Tuesday, April 6, 4 PM - 8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Wednesday, April 7, prior to the Funeral Mass in Most Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 AM.

Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Thomas may be made to Fr. Bills Place, 38 Broad St. Quincy, MA 02169 or to a charity of your choice.
