EUREKA…Irma E. Ingold, 93, formerly of Deer Creek, died at 7:10 p.m., Friday, April 2, 2010 at Maple Lawn Health Center, where she was a resident.
Irma was born on October 19, 1916 in Manito, Illinois. She married Clifford V. Ingold on March 23, 1946 in Pekin. Clifford passed away on October 27, 2003 in Eureka.
Among those surviving include one daughter, Cheryl (Robert) Miller of Peoria; one granddaughter, Terri Miller of Deer Creek and one great grandson, Ryan Widmer. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three infant siblings.
Irma attended Calvary Evangelical Mennonite Church in Washington and had been raised in the Lutheran faith. After graduating high school, Irma attended Brown’s Business College in Peoria.
A special note of thanks for all the kindness and care extended to the Ingold’s over the past several years by caregivers at Maple Lawn in Eureka.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Glendale Cemetery in Washington with Pastor Doug Hicks officiating, followed by a memorial service which will be held at 3 p.m. at the Maple Lawn Assembly Room. Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington is assisting the family in arrangements.
