Obituary

Mrs. Dorothy R. (Gearin) Kilday, beloved wife of the late Joseph Kilday and resident of Wilmington and formerly of Medford died at the Woodbriar of Wilmington Nursing Center in Wilmington on Friday, April 2, 2010. She was 90 years old.
Dorothy was born in Medford, Massachusetts, on April 25, 1919, the daughter of the late Michael and Eda (Creighton) Gearin. She was a graduate of Medford High School, class of 1937. Mrs. Kilday was a true family person, always caring for her beloved husband and family.
She was the loving mother of Kevin J. and his wife Cynthia A. Kilday of Wilmington, cherished grandmother of Kathleen Erin, Connor Patrick and John Kieran Kilday, all of Wilmington, devoted sister of Helen Crimmings of Reading and Virginia Haskell of Wakefield, sister-in-law of Barbara Gearin of Saugus and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral was from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at 10 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, Medford, 118 High Street, Medford at 11 AM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Visiting hours were held on Monday, April 5, 2010, in the funeral home, from 5 to 8 PM. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
