Obituary

Paul C. King age 68 of Sharon passed away April 2nd at home. Born in Cambridge he graduated from Knox College in Illinois and received his Masters in Education from Boston State College. He worked as a Research Assistant in Histochemistry at Forsyth Dental Center in Boston, a Biology Teacher at Randolph High School from 1968 to 2001 and a Biology Teacher at Massasoit Community College from 2004 to 2009. He was selected as an Access Excellence Fellow to participate in Genentech’s Access Excellence Program in San Francisco in 1996, Member and Past President of the Massachusetts Association of Biology Teachers, member of the National Biology Teachers Assn, he was inducted into the Massachusetts Hall of Fame for Science Educators in 2003 and was a member of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, Biogen-Idec from 2002 to 2010. Mr. King thoroughly enjoyed connecting with other Biology Teachers at conferences and workshops. He was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed downhill skiing, hiking, motorcycle riding and travelling. Beloved husband of Paula Klusas-King. Brother of William King and his wife Barbara of Norfolk. Brother in law of Valerie Klusas Branch and her husband Brett of Dallas. Uncle of Justine and Andrea King. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the Faith Lutheran Church 311 Broadway Cambridge Wednesday morning at 10. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, Dr. Kwak/Gallbladder Research Fund 165 Cambridge St., Suite 600 Boston, MA 02114.
