Elena C. Marchisio, 83, of Fairhaven died October 16, 2003 at Alden Place after a long illness.
She was the daughter of the late Domenic and Gabriella (Maglione) Marchisio.
Miss Marchisio was born in Sagamore, MA and lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Miss Marchisio was formerly employed by Merchants Bank for over 45 years until her retirement as executive assistant to the president.
She was a former member of the Ivy Circle.
Survivors include her nephew, Richard S. Marchisio, Jr., and his wife Nancy, of Rochester; her sister-in-law, Elizabeth D. Marchisio of New Bedford; her great-niece, Sarah Marchisio; her great-nephew, Christian Marchisio.
She was the sister of the late Richard S. Marchisio.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church Tuesday, October 21st at 11 AM.
Visiting hours Tuesday morning 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford prior to her mass.
Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
