Obituary

PAXTON-Julia (Kazarian) Kiremitjian, 76, of 3 Monticello Drive, died Wednesday, October 15th in her home. She leaves her husband of 47 years, Harry Kiremitjian, a son David Kiremitjian with whom she lived, a daughter Sona Murphy of Worcester, a brother Kazar Kazarian of North Grafton, 2 sisters Rose Yaylaian of Shrewsbury and Lillian Kazarian of Paxton, and 2 grandchildren.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of David and Sarah (Alexandrian) Kazarian. Mrs. Kiremitjian attended Grafton High School, and had worked as a secretary for 20 years at Keystone Electrical. Julia’s gentle manner and abundance of love extended to both family and friends. Her love of Armenian cooking evoked the essence of the pride she displayed in her heritage. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed shopping. Julia was a grand mother in every sense of the word. To have experienced her love was indeed a special gift. She was especially proud of her grandchildren Janel and Dean. They provided her with a sense of pride and to have been their grandmother was her greatest achievement. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the VNA Hospice Program for their outstanding care and services.

The funeral will be Monday, October 20th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 11:00 AM in the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609
