Salem: Mary M. (Ouellette) Kolozetski age 89 of Salem, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Grosvenor Park in Salem. She was the wife of the late Philip Kolozetski.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Godfroid and Cordelia (Chouinard) Ouellette. For many years Mary was employed in the shoe manufacturing industry in the greater Salem area. Following her retirement, she became active in the Salem Council on Aging, and the Salem Golden Tones. Her hobbies included knitting and crocheting as well as a special love of card playing.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Anita Ouellette of Salem, many nieces and nephews and grandnieces & grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Leo, Conrad, Arthur, Armand, Philip & Eugene Ouellette and a sister Gertrude Ouellette.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral mass on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 9 a.m. in Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B102, Danvers, MA 01923 or Salem Council on Aging, 5 Broad St., Salem, MA 01970.
