William C. Quigley of Carver passed away March 27th at the age of 77. William is predeceased by his wife Leah (Riordan) Quigley. He is survived by his 5 Step children, his sister Ann (Quigley) Meenan, 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 4 great-nieces, 5 great-nephews and 1 great-great niece. Born and raised in Dorchester to the late Charles and Helen (Donovan) Quigley, William completed the 10th grade and joined the Navy to serve on the USS Buckley during the Korean War. He moved to California in 1976 and then returned back to Carver MA in 2002. Memorial calling hours will be held Monday April 5th from 4-8 pm at Shepherd Funeral Home 116 Main St. (Rte 58) Carver. Family and friends are welcome gather at the funeral home Tuesday 6th at 9am with a Memorial Mass to follow at 10am at Our Lady of the Lourdes Church, Carver MA. A burial with military honors will be held at 12:30pm in the MA National Cemetery, Bourne MA.
