Funeral services for Ronalynn Elana Faircloth. 38, of Tifton will be held Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Ms. Faircloth died Tuesday at Tift Regional Hospital following an extended illness.
Ms. Faircloth was born in Tifton, Ga. and was the daughter of Ronald W. & Benita Whiddon Faircloth of Tifton. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Tifton and was an Instructor of Environmental Health at the University of Georgia.
While in high school, she won First Place in Local, State, National and International sciences fairs. She was a graduate of ABAC with an Asso. Degree in Biology and the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Masters of Education, Six-Year Certificate of Educational Administration & Supervision. She had completed all courses to receive her Doctor of Education in Environmental Health prior to her disability.
Ms, Faircloth is survived by her parents, Ronald & Benita W. Faircloth of Tifton and one sister, Robin Bennye Faircloth, Watkinsville, Ga. also surviving is her Maternal Grandmother, Hester Griffin Whiddon of Ashburn, her uncles and their wives, Buddy & June Whiddon and Randall & Elaine Whiddon of Ashburn She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandfather, Ben Whiddon of Ashburn and her Paternal Grandparents, Tom & Bertha Faircloth of Pelham.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
