Obituary

Ted Faircloth, 54, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Thursday, April 1, 2010 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eddie Smith and Bro. Bobby Adkinson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

Mr. Faircloth was born April 23, 1955 in Pelham, Georgia to Nadine Godwin Faircloth and the late Curtis Faircloth. He grew up in Mitchell County and moved to Fitzgerald 32 years ago. Mr. Faircloth was a Millright and a truck driver and former employee of Deep South Products. He was a member of the Colony City Darters & Pool Leagues and was past-governor of the Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years: Donna Anglon Faircloth of Fitzgerald; son: Chuck Faircloth of Fitzgerald; daughter: Amanda (Scott) Branam of Fitzgerald; mother: Nadine Faircloth of Pelham; brother: Thelton Faircloth of Pelham; sisters: Esterlita West of Orlando, FL and Donita Thompson of Pelham; grandchildren: Lauren Smith, Seth and Dillon Faircloth and Josie Branam; sister-in-law: Susan Anglon of Fitzgerald; best friend: D.R. Roberts of Fitzgerald; mother-in-law: Bobbie Anglon of Fitzgerald as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Paul Anglon.
