Trifero Joseph J. of Wellesley formerly of Newton March 29, 2010 age 101. Beloved husband of the late Mary A. (Russo) Trifero. Devoted father of Angela Mary Moruzzi and her husband Mario of Framingham. Lorraine Gaysunas and her husband Clifford of Hanover.
Loving grandfather of Paul Quirk Jr., Kathryn Cote, Thomas Quirk, Clifford Gaysunas Jr., Kristen Salmon, and Sharon Norton.
Also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
A native of Boston he worked for The Boston & Albany R.R. New York Central RR. He served as Chairman of the New England Railroad Community Committee from 1963-1972. He became a founding member of the American Society of traffic and transportation. He was a lecturer at Northeastern University. A violinist in the Wellesley Symphony Orchestra and served as treasurer. A member of the Nehoiden Golf Club of Wellesley.
