Tocci, Josephine "Jo" E.(Emanuele) lifelong of Quincy, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 27,2010 surrounded by her loving family. Josephine was the daughter of the late Nicola and Louise Emanuele. Beloved wife of the late Leo Tocci. Loving mother of Charles Tocci of Minoa, NY, Joseph Tocci of Bridgewater, Susan DeLong and Dianne Cushing both of Quincy. Sister of Jennie Inglis of Quincy Lee Emanuele of Kingston and Marie Fitzgerald of Weymouth. Josephine is also lovingly survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and her longtime companion James "Jim" Rattigan.
Josephine was a 1951 graduate of Quincy High School. She had a very active social life with numerous friends. She spent time volunteering at 100 Southern Artery in the lunch room. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting and playing cribbage. Most of all Josephine love going out dancing.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Tuesday, March 30, 2010 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10:00 AM.
Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
