LOWELL—Leona (Lamoureux) Neveu, 63 years old, died Monday at her home. She was the wife of Paul F. Neveu, Sr..
She was born in Lowell, on August 20, 1940, a daughter of the late George and Lillian (Peloquin) Lamoureux, and was a graduate of the Lowell Public School System.
Mrs. Neveu was employed for many years at Circuit Service, of Lowell. She also worked for the City of Lowell as a Crossing Guard, at the intersection of Andover and High Street.
Surviving her besides her husband are three sons and two daughters-in-law: Richard A Neveu, of Lowell; Maurice A. and Karen Neveu, of Washington, NH; and Paul F. and Maria Neveu, Jr., of Lowell; a daughter and son-in-law: Michelle A. and Leo LeBlanc, of Townsend; eight grandchildren: Mandy Neveu, Paul F. Neveu, III, Rosemarie Ayala, Kevin Neveu, Reynaldo Ayala, Corey Neveu, Leo LeBlanc, Jr., and Brittani LeBlanc; her mother-in-law: Florence Neveu, of Roswell, GA; also several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday, October 16th, from 4 until 8 PM on at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). Her Funeral Mass to be offered Friday morning, October 17th, at 10:30 AM at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, Lowell. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
