Obituary

Frances S. (Harrison) Fabian, 76, of Bellingham, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at St. Camillus Health Center in Northbridge. She was the devoted wife of Stanley J. Fabian who died in 2008.

Born on May 4, 1933 in Woonsocket, RI, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Laura (Swietz) Harrison. Mrs. Fabian grew up in Millville and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Milford. She was a resident of Bellingham for the past 50 years.

Mrs. Fabian was a devoted and loyal parishioner of St. Brendan’s Church in North Bellingham for many years. She volunteered on many projects including the Fall Fair and also worked in the rectory.

Mrs. Fabian enjoyed trips to the casino with her husband and looked forward to their annual family trip to the Balsam’s. She was an avid Red Sox fan and also enjoyed gardening. In her later years, she took pride in being a loving grandmother to Elizabeth, Jessica and Jonathan.

In addition to her grandchildren, she is survived by a daughter, Kathy Monroe and her husband, Brad of Millville, a son, Michael Fabian and his wife, Kathy of Uxbridge and a sister, Patricia Atteridge and her husband, Charlie of Millville.

She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Helen Rosborough of Natick, a brother-in-law, Walter Fabian of Quincy and several nieces and nephews.

She was a sister of the late Joseph Harrison and a close friend of the late Fr. Daniel J. Gilmartin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Monday, March 29 from the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St., Medway at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Brendan’s Church in North Bellingham at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Uxbridge.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 - 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Fabian’s memory to St. Brendan’s Church Bldg. Fund, 382 Hartford Ave., N. Bellingham, MA 02019.
