Gloria E. Kelley, of Tewksbury formerly of Wilmington, passed away Wednesday, March 24th, in her home with her loving family at her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald E. Kelley who passed away in May of 2001. Gloria was born in New Carlisle, Quebec, Canada and was the daughter of the late William and Anettie E. (Shearer) Huntington.
Gloria was raised and educated in Canada. She met her husband to be, who was working as a butcher in of the local stores, while visiting her sister living in Wilmington. Soon after they were married on November 16, 1963 in Wilmington and together they shared 38 years of marriage. Gloria was a Tewksbury resident for the past 45 years. Prior to her retirement she worked for the Hycor Electronics Co. of Woburn for over five years. She also worked for
Undercover Wear of Wilmington for several years. Mostly devoted to her family she enjoyed crocheting, making clothes and traveling with friends and family with Las Vegas being one of her favorite destinations. Her greatest joy was being with her family and especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her late husband and parents, Gloria is predeceased by her sisters, Leona Hamilton and Wilma Ward, brothers, Lloyd and Otis Huntington. She is survived by her children; Karen Moore and her husband Barry of Tewksbury, Ronald Kelley of Pelham, NH, Paul Kelley and his wife Wendy of Canada. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Casandra Kelley, Jennifer Kelley and Kamron Moore. She is further survived by her brother, Claude Huntington of Canada and her nephew Neil Hamilton of Tewksbury.
A Funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., Wilmington, on Saturday, March 27th, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
