Gordon L. Kilgore, 93, of Irwinville, Georgia died Monday, October 13, 2003 at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at Irwinville Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Irwinville Cemetery. Visitation will be 7:00 to 9:00, Tuesday evening at Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald.
Mr. Kilgore was born October 12, 1910 in Turner County, Georgia to the late D.B. & Irene Dryden Kilgore. He was one of the oldest pioneer members of the Irwinville community. Mr. Kilgore was a member, a Deacon, former Sunday School Teacher & former Sunday School Superintendent of Irwinville Baptist Church. He was a Farmer and a member of Woodmen Of The World.
Survivors include: His wife, Joyce Dove Kilgore and daughter, Connie Kilgore, both of Irwinville; son, Donald B. Kilgore, Eloise, FL; brother, George Kilgore, Fitzgerald & sister, Rosa Lee Jones, Dowling, FL
