Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, March 22, 2010 at Trinity Hospital, Frances Rebecca Jaynes, 79.
Ms. Jaynes was a native of Laurens, SC, but had resided in Augusta for most of her life. She was a member of Curtis Baptist Church and a member of the Seekers Sunday school class. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Rosemary Chapter #158. She was employed by the Augusta Housing Authority for 40 years and currently was a Region Manager.
Family members include: sons: “Crad” Jaynes and his wife, Brenda of Lexington, SC; Greg Jaynes and his wife, Carol of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren: Jason Jaynes of West Columbia, S. C. and Erin Jaynes of Lexington, S.C.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Curtis Baptist Church with Dr. Sherrell Dunn officiating. Interment will be in the McCormick Cemetery, McCormick, S.C. at 3:00 P. M.
Memorials may be made to Curtis Baptist Church, 1326 Broad Street, Augusta, GA 30901 if so desired.
