Jacqueline R. (Burgo) Jones, 54, of New Bedford died Sunday March 21, 2010 at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Francis Jones.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Manuel and Patricia (Soares) Burgo, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Mrs. Jones was formerly employed by H. Loeb Corporation.
Survivors include her parents; two daughters, Jo-Ann Jones and Cristina Jones, both of New Bedford; a brother, Manuel Burgo, Jr. of Middleboro; four sisters, Debra Rebeiro of New Bedford, Patricia Knight of Florida, Kim Billups of Connecticut, and Lori Tabares of New Bedford; two grandchildren, Arian and Anyra Smith, both of New Bedford; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Anthony Burgo.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 PM. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
