Obituary

Paul M. Nash age 56, of Raynham died Saturday March 20, 2010 at his home with the comfort of his family. He was the loving and devoted husband of Stella (Hogan) Nash for 29 years. Paul was born and raised in Brockton a son of the late Frank and Gladys (Knight) Nash and attended Brockton schools. During the Vietnam era he served the US Army and was stationed in Germany. At the time of his illness Paul was employed at the Brockton VA Medical Center and was a “Jack of all trades” as a master mechanic and heavy equipment operator. At one time he owned Paul’s Auto Sales in Whitman. He had also worked part time at the Sears Service Center in Brockton and West Acres Nursing Home. Paul was a classic car enthusiast who enjoyed restoring old cars especially his 1967 Chevelle. He was very handy with his hands and could build or fix anything. Paul will be remembered for his gift of comic relief, his colorful personality and his ability to tell you like it is. Most importantly he treasured his time spent with his family and his granddaughter Chyanne.
In addition to his wife he leaves his children Jennifer Nash of Berkley, Paul M. Jr., Robert W., Patrick D., and Katie E. Nash all of Raynham. He was the brother of Gail Gabriel of Whitman, Kenny of Florida, Donny of Abington, Brenda Donahue of Brockton, Peter of Raynham and the late David, Danny, Eddie and Bobby Nash. He leaves his granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. He was the son-in-law of Kathleen and Daniel Delaney of Athenry, Ireland.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 10:30am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 pm.
