New Bedford - Karleen (Pacheco) Winn, aged 65 years, died Friday March 19, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Philip D. Winn of New Bedford. Mrs. Winn was the mother of Amy Winn Knott and her husband James of Mansfield. She was the sister of the late Jesse Pacheco Jr. Karleen was also survived by 1 niece and 2 nephews.
Mrs. Winn was the daughter of the late Irene (Paiva) and Jesse Pacheco. She was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all her life. She was formerly a teachers aid at Roosevelt Middle School. She was a graduate of New Bedford High School Class of 1962.
Mrs. Winn’s funeral will be Wednesday from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 9 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church, on County St. at 10 A.M., Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
