Obituary

Pauline M. (Roy) Masson, 81, of Manchester died October 12, 2003 at Elliot Hospital after a sudden illness.

Born in Franklin on February 21, 1922, she was the daughter of Arthur and Emelie (Goupil) Roy. She grew up in Franklin then moved to Manchester where she lived for many years. She also wintered in Sarasota, Fl for many years.

Mrs. Masson help care for the elderly at the Masonic Home in Manchester for many years. She had also worked at Waumbec Mills.

She was predeceased by her husband, Andre O. Masson in 1988, and by a son, Ronald A. Masson in 2001.

The family includes three children, JoAnn M. Durham and her husband, Dr. Charles of Prattville, AL, Richard R. Masson and his wife , Cherilyn of San Pedro, CA and Suzanne M. Young and her husband, Robert of Clarksville; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Rita Desnoyers of Hill; many nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday October 17, 2003 in St. Joseph Cathedral, corner of Pine and Lowell streets, Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
